UV Disinfection Solutions
UV Air Disinfection Units use Germicidal UV-C Light, which has been used to sterilise, disinfect air, water and surfaces for over 100 years. UV-C Light, proven to achieve 99.99% disinfection, inactivates (‘kills’) Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) in air streams, prevents the spread of Covid-19 and improves air quality in a room. UV-C Light breaks down the DNA of viruses, moulds and bacteria. JenAct UV Air Disinfection products include air disinfection units, which can be static or dynamic variants.
UV Sterilisation Cabinets are designed and made here in the UK, to disinfect the surfaces of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). UV Disinfection Conveyors disinfect the surfaces of food, boxes, packages, packaging, trays, medical items (including masks), items being transferred in or out of factories and packaging areas, post, parcels, and anything that may be transferring viruses and bacteria via touch.
High Intensity UVC lamps from Signify/Philips are mounted on sophisticated reflectors to maximise UVC Light Intensity on products positioned above/below or moving past them, to disable (‘kill’) Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19).
JenAct’s sophisticated modelling software ensures 99.99% disinfection is achieved on exposed surfaces. JenAct can also supply UV measurement and control equipment.
UV Air Disinfection for HVAC, equipped with UVC lamps inactivates (‘kills’) biological contaminants in ventilation systems and in air streams where ventilated fresh air isn’t available. The GRU-V UV Torpedo® UV Air Disinfection modules can be fitted into existing air ducts. JenAct’s own proprietary modelling software is used to ensure a match that will achieve 99.99% air disinfection of SARS-CoV-2, kill and prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Longitudinal mounting ensures maximum time and even exposure for air treatment and systems can be monitored and controlled for BMS connection. Typically JenAct will supply UV Torpedo® systems to installers or OEMs.
